A Volt Meter is a device used to measure voltage. It can be used to measure the voltage of a single cell or battery, or the voltage of a circuit. Volt Meters are often used in electrical testing and troubleshooting.
There are two types of Volt Meters: analog and digital. Analog Volt Meters use a needle to point to a voltage on a scale. Digital Volt Meters display the voltage as a number on an LCD screen.
To use a Volt Meter, first make sure that it is turned off. Then connect the probes to the device you want to measure. If you are measuring the voltage of a battery, connect the black probe to the negative terminal and the red probe to the positive terminal. If you are measuring the voltage of a circuit, touch the probes to the two points in the circuit that you want to measure.
